Jock Walk

Physical therapist Bob Wolford, D.C., P.T. met me at my gym yesterday.  He walked in, head high above his shoulders, sporting that jock walk, where the built-up shoulders shift slightly from side to side.  As we approached the machines, he said what he's said a million times I'm sure and a few dozen times

Thankful and in Pain

Difficult circumstances force us to find within us a larger self and to connect with a power greater than our fate.  I'm grateful for the many friends, family, the beauty of nature, the skills of Western and traditional healers, and my faith in the practice of Tibetan Buddhism that have enabled me to survive
